What is UnifiedID?

UnifiedID is the core identity primitive of Glyph.

It is a user-owned, chain-agnostic identifier that can represent:

  • A person(without PII) across multiple wallets and chains.

  • Their verified attributes and capabilities.

  • Their behavioral labels (e.g., “DeFi power user”, “NFT collector”, “RPG grinder”) expressed via claims rather than raw logs.

A UnifiedID is:

  • Non-custodial – Created and controlled by the user via their own wallets.

  • Portable – Works across chains, games, DeFi protocols, and other apps.

  • Extensible – New claims and attestations can be added over time by trusted issuers.

  • Private by design – The mapping from UnifiedID → wallets can be hidden and/or proved via ZK, depending on the integration.
